Description:

Abstract office, warehouse, retail, asset (AP and Receivable) leases, amendments, and other lease-related documents from an operations and financial perspective

Process the monthly and miscellaneous payment batches and appropriate adjustments

Maintain the Integrated Workplace Management System for assigned portfolios

Perform Desktop audits of (monthly & annual) Operating Expense Statements and negotiate resolutions to disputes

Manage the processing Percentage Rent liability when applicable

Manage Tenant Improvement Allowance collection

Support Lease Accounting in providing 10(k) input reporting

Review and prepare comments to Estoppels and other lease related requests, for submission for Corporate Legal processing

Develop and provide reports for Stakeholders on an ad hoc basis

Support Real Property Account Managers in their management of critical dates

Partner with the Manager to further develop, refine and cross train Lease Administration team members in support of the Administration of retail and corporate leases

Assist in the documentation and annual review and refinement of standardized lease administration policies and procedures

Liaise between landlord, Legal, Operations, Property Managers, other lines of business Finance and Treasury, Brokers and DWSS Lease Accounting

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in property management accounting and/or lease administration

In depth experience with varieties of real estate accounting database software and MS Office Suite with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel specifically.

Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen

The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with SAP and/or other enterprise-wide accounting systems

Preferred Education:

M.B.A. - Business Management/Finance
