Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain ISO45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
- Lead the safety committee, conduct environmental and safety training and environmental and safety audits.
- Develop & maintain site layout & footprint of site including any in-facility restructuring as the business evolves in alignment with manufacturing operations, define required new machine specifications and coordinate logistics and rigging needs for installation to meet manufacturing demands and customer requirements.
- Oversee the installation of new equipment, maintain existing equipment in response to preventative and reactive maintenance work orders. Schedule preventive maintenance activities as prescribed by preventive maintenance database and plant demands.
- Requisition and track tools, assets, equipment, supplies, and services. Includes overseeing regular electrical work, clean room PM, infrastructure management including chiller systems, and HVAC maintenance.
- Manage and participate in the Capital requisition and approval system (CAPEX) for the total site.
- Participate in AS9100 activities which align with facilities and EH&S activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations including hazardous waste management, air and water permitting, SARA, OSHA and applicable European standards.
- Managing and improving plant Environmental and Safety Programs. Collecting analyzing, and maintaining Environmental and Safety Metrics. Includes monthly reporting.
- Take lead in accident investigations and root cause/corrective action investigations. Working with employees in improving environmental, health and safety issues.
- Ensure that wastes (hazardous and non-hazardous) are inspected and labeled, and ensure proper disposal procedures are being followed. Act as hazardous waste coordinator.
- Manages services or related products from outside vendors, oversees on-site contractor work ensuring contractors are working within our safety and environmental guidelines; ensures they have completed contractor safety training.

- Corporate responsibility reporting, annual Blue Grading assessment of operations per corporate guidelines in relation to EH&S, local authority & Fire Department coordination/reporting, permit conformance, and coordinate of site security system.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8+ years of related experience in both facilities/maintenance and EH&S (Environmental, Health and Safety)
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years experience in a leadership role
Desired:
- 3+ years in a maintenance leadership role
- Experience and/or understanding of welding, blueprint reading, general mechanical skills. In addition experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrically controlled and operated systems.
