Adecco Permanent Recruitment is Hiring for 2 Plant Maintenance Supervisors within the Food Packing Industry:
Location: Kinston NC
12 hour shifts 6pm-6am - 4/3/4

Role Overview: Oversees maintenance teams in installing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on plant equipment, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse systems. Ensures efficient processes to minimize downtime and maintain optimal production flow.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance activities.
Develop, implement, and supervise maintenance systems and processes, including TPM, SOPs, and safety protocols.
Schedule and coordinate maintenance with Production to ensure timely equipment and facility repairs.
Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for maintenance, such as supplier performance, equipment reliability, and OEE.
Provide support and long-term solutions for troubleshooting and equipment issues.
Train employees in proper work methods and safety procedures.
Ensurepliance with USDA regulations and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Perform or delegate essential tasks in the absence of key personnel.
Qualifications
Must have proven experience leading and mentoring teams or managing projects.
Muste from the food manufacturing or food packaging industry
Advanced technical knowledge in ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, PLCs, and other mechanical and electrical systems (preferred).
Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, including TPM and inventory/scheduling software (preferred).
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, andmunication skills.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, build strong relationships, and foster teamwork.
Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred
Bilingual (preferred).
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Lead and guide Maintenance Department employees.
Handle interviewing, hiring, training, work assignments, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution perpany policies.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Office and plant settings with exposure to wet, humid, extreme temperature conditions, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and chemicals.
Moderate to loud noise levels in production areas.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and adjusting focus.
